Verizon Telematics sales group is expanding its distribution support model to include all VZW retail stores, Indirect locations and Mercedes Benz Dealerships. The role for this position will support the distribution of all Verizon Telematics products (Hum – 70%, NWF – 20% and OEM – 10%). Each SDR will be assigned a specific geographic region to manage. This position will be required to be in the field Tuesday – Saturday each week.
Work directly with VZ channels and MB Dealership distribution end points to promote, educate and train on all VZT products. Manage market prioritization based on needs and opportunity. Build key strategic relationships with all distribution end points to further the growth of VZT products.
Comply with reporting requirements including but not limited to sales reporting, Salesforce opportunity reporting and industry intelligence.
Provide input into Verizon Telematics leadership in regards to strategic direction to meet the needs of each channels penetration
Work closely with the VZW Retail, Indirect and MB Dealership teams throughout the sales process in the capacity of Verizon Telematics subject matter expert and telematics leader. Utilize all resources to maximize revenue and sales growth, as well as market share and productivity gains. Responsible for creating sales strategy for the region in conjunction with the Sales Manager. Responsible for maintaining healthy working relationships with all internal associates in order to minimize deliverable delays.
Must have a mastery level of sales processes and influence. Needs to be well organized and efficient with handling high volume of emails, tasks, meeting and travel. Needs to be highly motivated and a self-starter. Technological understanding and ability to see solutions are critical. Excellent organizational skills. Outstanding relationship and resolution skills. Ability to present product offering.
Education: Required - 2 years College Degree
