Job Description:

Performance Mobility is looking for a proactive sales professional to join our Portland East team as a Mobility Advisor (Car Salesman). The company sells wheelchair accessible vans and minivans, lifts, and other adaptive equipment for people with limited mobility. We are looking for individuals with consultative sales experience, preferably with a background in the mobility industry or in a clinical, medical, or senior care setting. The candidate must have at least three years of sales experience.

Responsible for all sales /account manager activities with customers and/or assigned accounts, Implementing follow up and sales processes, while managing the quality and consistency of product deliveries to the customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and practice sales techniques, processes, proposals and product demonstrations

• Develop, maintain and continue to improve sales materials and product knowledge

• Establish and maintain current and potential customers and referral sources

• Identify, document and contact prospects as outlined in the connection and sales processes

• Consistently follow up with current and new leads using the CRM software

• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify priorities and set appointments to be made with existing and potential customers

• Complete thorough Needs Analysis to determine the solutions available through adapted vehicle conversions, driving aids, and adaptive equipment

• Prepare Estimates, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Invoices as needed at the point of sale

• Coordinate shipping and installation schedules for product installations and delivery

• Allocating time to pursue new referral sources through face to face marketing efforts

Non-essential Job Functions of Sales/Account Manager

• Participate in marketing events

• Develop and implement unique sales processes to ensure work is completed thoroughly (pop-up dates; setting appointments; responding every lead quickly)

• Fleet management practices to ensure all product is presentable, and resources are organized.

Requirements of Sales/Account Manager

• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills

• Must have strong empathetic and customer relations skills

• Ability to listen, ask questions and deliver presentations as needed

• Ability to document notes thoroughly in order to consistently follow up with prospects, existing customers, and comply with the sales process

• Maintain professional appearance and providing a positive company image

• Competitive and Goal Oriented characteristics
