The Sr. Business Analyst will work with our internal and third-party databases to execute and support sales and marketing initiatives. This role is essential to the success of our Sales and Marketing efforts across all clients. The Sr. Business Analyst, Sales & Marketing will be directly responsible for establishing the overall architectural view and identifying major system interfaces on a cross-channel platform.  This role will directly influence our ability to conduct customer level analysis around Key Performance Indicators for our Direct Marketing campaigns, Sales Call Centers and Field Advocacy teams for OEM and AM business partners alike.  The Sr. Business Analyst will be the primary point of contact for adhoc, Executive, and Legal requests.  The key component of this role is to serve as a QA cleansing house for our data sets.

Leverage key business metrics to anticipate needs for cross marketing opportunities to ensure business expansion; collaborate and coordinate with team members to identify data elements which are needed from data that currently exist.

Collaborate with various internal client teams to identify opportunities and issues around call center volume and staffing; incorporate input into fluid, daily, weekly and monthly dashboard reports.

Prepare reports for periodic business reviews for Direct Marketing Campaign initiatives; generate exception reports to proactively track predicted activities against demand and external influencers.

Test and refine strategic approaches and consider creative avenues that are more broad in scope that support longer term objectives; design and analyze a system to accommodate marketing and sales programs effectively.

Coordinate a repeatable and scalable business intelligence strategy to be leveraged with new and existing partners; serve as forecast expert for the Sales and Marketing Team, ensuring consistency and synergy across clients where applicable, eliminating duplicity and redundancy in both content and structure of analytical outputs and tools.

This role will lead activities around critical initiatives, understanding factors that influence our ability to accurately predict business results on a monthly basis, understanding customer behaviors and developing predictive models; this work will be used by various members of the Marketing team, among others, to develop effective marketing campaigns and sales call center programs to drive revenue. 

Analyze customer requests, create and manage various approaches to these requests and ensuring they are executed with excellence; must deliver and implement recommendations for solid business results. 


Extensive experience in data modeling and analysis with sales and marketing programs; experience with subscription-based businesses considered a plus.

Direct work experience utilizing database query and reporting tools; expertise with SAS, SPSS, and/or Oracle considered a plus.

Experience with a GIS mapping tool to understand customer behaviors and incorporate findings, and internal customer data with efficient/effective marketing campaigns considered a plus.

Superior analytical skills with a solid business foundation (especially in the marketing area); expert level with Microsoft Excel.

Proficiency in MS Office tools - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage team initiatives and multiple projects simultaneously; ablility to handle multiple internal and external customers' requests and resources with differing data needs and be extremely detail-oriented and organized.

Understanding of the critical success factors and variables that serve as inputs to a sales and marketing campaigns including take rates, order amount and retention ratios.

B.A./B.S. - Required
Masters/Bachelor's in Statistics, Math, Accounting, Finance or related field - Preferred

Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAS/SPSS/Oracle
