The role

To act as the leader of Verizon's overall business relationship with the US Department of Agriculture, Veterans Affairs and Treasury.  Responsible for developing and executing an overall client business plan to achieve Verizon'sclient objectives and nurturing senior executive and officer level relationships as required for plan delivery. Building trust and credibility at all levels within the client and internally at Verizon and thereby identifying client priorities and ensuring Verizon has a key role in achieving them. Works with the solutions architect and business analyst to identify and shape business issues and strategies and then drive overall solution definition and specification, utilizing and co-coordinating all specialist resources as needed, always ensuring the solution optimizes the clients objectives and business needs as well as those of Verizon and its partners as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in achieving results in USDA, Treasury or VA

• Preferred application with have participated in government-wide working groups such as the CIO Council or hold an active membership in IAC, AFCEA, AFFIRM or another government-industry group.

• Complete understanding of the Federal  acquisition construct with emphasis on government-wide IDIQ contracts or experience with VA T4, CIOSP or other major programs.

• Strategy and planning. Consultative / solutions thought leadership with VA, USDA, Treasury or other key partner agencies such as OMB and GSA entities
