Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Control Legal Compliance (LC) responses to requests for assistance by law enforcement and attorneys.
  • Handle incoming ACD calls and respond to subpoenas, court orders and other lawful demands for company records which originate from federal, state and local authorities. 
  • Retrieval of company records including IP, billing, service orders, call details, miscellaneous company records and analysis of the data pursuant to legal documents. 
  • Provides technical assistance to law enforcement agencies regarding legal requests.
  • Interface with a multitude of different Verizon business units to implement and repair various solutions, and provides assistance for problem determination and solution. 
  • Works closely with various federal, state and local agencies, responding to their needs, concerns, and questions.
  • Responds to out of hours life threatening and emergency situations, interfaces with internal and external departments.
  • Conduct presentations to internal and external customers and appear in court testifying about company records.
  • Coordinates representatives and / or testifies in court on behalf of Verizon records.
  • Job requires 24x7x365 availability.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Must have knowledge and experience of broadband, IP based services, including familiarity with accessing those records and the inter-workings of the IT systems.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Verizon's legacy and web based data applications.
  • Must have experience in at least one of the following systems: BOSS, NTAG, EXPRESSWEB, COFEE, ICRIS, SOP, vREPAIR, STORC, WFA, OCIS, IXPLUS, INTRA-PRO, RIM TOOL, COMS, OARS, VZB Central, CDCT, IP Manager, IVAPP, BAAIS, MARS,  or INTERNET  applications.
  • Excellent computer skills, including a working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and Adobe PDF files.
  • Detailed oriented with exceptional oral and written communication skills and customer service/problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Corporate structure, the Code of Business Conduct and strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Ability to analyze a situation and determine the appropriate resolution.
  • Job requires 24x7x365 availability.

Desired Skills & Experience

Possess or working towards developing expertise on new emerging technologies such as Internet and the SoftSwitches or Broadband services.

  • Ability to read and understand legal documents including, but not limited to Subpoenas, Court Orders and Search Warrants.
  • Analyze records and patterns in company records and recognize issues that indicate system problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
  • Work with IT employees and programmers concerning the issues.
  • Ability to obtain government security clearance.
  • Experience and working knowledge of the following: DS1, DSL, ISDN, PRI, SONET, and Centrex
  • Background in security, engineering, network operation, installation, and or repair work.
