When you join Verizon as a Business Account Apprentice, you'll play an integral role in driving the success of a world-class technology leader. With your outstanding business and sales expertise combined with your exceptional relationship-building skills, you'll thrive in delivering a superior customer experience and provide innovative solutions to small and medium businesses. With your passion for technology and Verizon products and services, you'll be responsible for cold calling, foot prospecting and meeting with customers to drive sales
You will utilize sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools. Generate forecasting and tracking reports Attend training to keep up with company products, as well as market and industry trends.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: A 2-year degree, or at least 4 years of relevant business experience in outside sales and account management.
Preferred Qualifications: A 4-year degree, 5+ years of outside sales and account management experience with an emphasis on national and government accounts, and a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. Additionally, the following skills and attributes will be integral to your success: Excellent communication and customer interaction skills with the ability to negotiate and close sales. Ability to navigate accounts and develop key partnerships within customer organizations. A passion for technology Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
