The Role: Leadership role focused on Business Development, Marketing and Commercialization in support of higher level connectivity innovation for Stryker. As part of the Connected Care leadership team the individual in this role will help define and enable outstanding value creation for Stryker’s customers and incremental revenue growth for the organization.
• Key member of the Connected Care Leadership Team tasked with definition and ongoing refinement of the broader LINK program strategy.
• Establish key strategic customers that will help guide the evolution of the innovation initiative. This vision should be based on extensive interaction and experiences across a broad customer base within Healthcare and should include multiple stakeholder groups for diversity of thought and user needs.
• Execute the key strategic customer roadmap by facilitating relationships with customer targets to engage with Stryker as Beta-Sites and potential suppliers of input on how connectivity can add value within their organization.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional Business Development and Marketing leaders (Director and VP level) as well as the Connected Care Steering team relative to strategic plans for the business development process as it relates to the LINK program.
• Key leader for all Business Development activities related to the LINK Program including technology partner exploration, selection and execution.
• Drive brand awareness to ensure consistent messaging related to the program.
• Partner, collaborate and Influence new product development teams (Marketing, R&D, etc) across various Stryker divisions to ensure the value proposition of the LINK Program is messaged, understood and considered in the creation of all new products.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders in technology adoption utilizing past experiences and broad contact within the Healthcare industry.
• Responsible for the ongoing evolution of the Business and Financial Model of the program based on strategic direction, continued learning, customer feedback and collaboration with the Connected Care Steering Team.
• Define, select and develop the Connected Care marketing talent necessary to create long term success and sustainment of the program.
• Define, implement and sustain the appropriate commercialization strategy, structure and talent for the Connected Care business while keeping perspective of cross divisional interactions.
• Ultimately responsible for understanding and identifying the needs of the customer that can be influenced by connected product data leading to informed insights and value creation.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to engage individuals/groups cross functionally as well as cross divisionally
• Open minded to changing thoughts and processes. An active listener with a collaborative nature.
• 10+ years work experience.
• New Product Development experience desired. (i.e. comfortable working in undefined projects that challenge finding solutions to unmet/unarticulated customer needs).
• Business Development experience desired.
• Healthcare IT exposure/knowledge desired.
• Experience in the broader Healthcare field to include clinical exposure, interaction with healthcare professionals is desired.
• Experience with commercialization of goods/services.
• Upstream and downstream marketing experience.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited institution

MBA preferred
Ten (10) years of previous professional experience
